I figured it out. This is the best caramel drink I’ve had at Starbucks. While I’ve always been a big fan of caramel coffee drinks like caramel macchiatos, caramel lattes, caramel frappuccinos, etc. I’ve usually preferred a caramel and vanilla combo, such as the Dutch Bros Golden Eagle.
But, I haven’t given up. I’ve been trying various caramel drinks at Starbucks. And now that I’ve created this one, I am convinced: this is the best caramel coffee drink at Starbucks (in my humble opinion).
So, if you’re a fan of Starbucks and caramel coffee drinks, consider trying this combination. I’m also giving you some substitutions if you want to take the caramel flavor up even more or if you want to balance it out a little bit. Either way, I really think you’re going to love it.
The Best Caramel Drink at Starbucks:
The frothy shaken espresso melds with the creamy caramel sauce for a smooth delicious drink that is complimented by nutty oatmilk. Topped with sweet vanilla cold foam and caramel drizzle, this is a caramel drink you won’t want to miss. Next time I need to order a Venti, because I drank half before I even got home!
Here’s how to order:
Can I get a Grande (or whatever size you want) caramel shaken espresso with oatmilk, vanilla cold foam, and caramel drizzle, please?
Substitutions:
Want even more caramel flavor? Ask for salted caramel cold foam. They top their salted caramel cold brew with this and it’s delicious. It’ll take up the caramel flavor even more!
Want less caramel flavor? Get the vanilla cold foam and don’t ask for caramel drizzle. This will save you a little bit of money on the drizzle, too.
Want less caffeine? As for a caramel latte with vanilla cold foam and drizzle. Lattes have more milk than the shaken espressos and one less espresso shot.
