After seeing the Nescafe Ice Roast all over social media, I finally got my hands on a bottle of it. It kept selling out everywhere around me, but I kept looking and my vigilance paid off. I now have my very own Nescafe Ice Roast and this bad boy is going to last awhile.
I also picked up the viral cold foam in a can to try that out. I kept seeing recipes that use the Nescafe Ice Roast, caramel syrup or sauce, and the cold foam, so I grabbed everything I needed to recreate the Dutch Bros Golden Eagle with these ingredients.
Keep reading to find out how it tastes and what I’ve learned to do differently now that I’ve made it a couple times.
Nescafe Iced Coffee with Caramel and Vanilla: Ingredients
Here’s what you’ll need to make this recipe. Feel free to sub out for any other syrups you prefer.
- Nescafe Ice Roast – This is the main ingredient here for the coffee. I was shocked at how much this iced coffee froths up! It’s pretty amazing, actually. You can replace this with cold brew, iced coffee, or espresso shots with water or espresso shot with milk (like a latte).
- Monin Creme Caramel Syrup – Syrups blend better with iced coffee than sauces, so I used my favorite Monin caramel syrup.
- 1883 Vanilla Syrup – I love vanilla syrup. I recently grabbed this 1883 vanilla syrup and it’s good. I also have a really delicious recipe for how to make it at home with 3 ingredients.
- Cold Foam – I used the french vanilla cold foam for this one. It’s good. It’s a quick, easy cold foam. There is an aftertaste that I do not taste when I make my own cold foam. I do prefer homemade cold foam and it’s pretty quick and easy, but this is definitely faster and easier.
- Ice – I know, pretty obvious, but I’ve started making coffees only to realize I’m out of ice! So, I always check my ice first.
- 20-24oz glass – I had to buy bigger tumblers to make this. I had 16oz. glasses, but not 20 and when I frothed the Nescafe, it spilled all over or didn’t leave enough room for the cold foam. I upgraded to these glass tumblers that are 20oz and love them. I would say 24oz would be even better.
As far as tools, you’ll need a good milk frother. This is my all-time favorite. I use it every day. It stores nicely on the counter and it’s super powerful and fast. Love, love, love.
I bought all of these item with my own money. If you choose to make a purchase through my links, I may receive a commission at no cost to you! Cheers!

- Add 6oz. of water to glass
- Add one heaping spoon of Nescafe Ice Roast. I first started with 1 tsp. as recommended, but it wasn’t strong enough. Use a spoon, like what you eat cereal with, and just scoop it up. You can also use a tablespoon.
- Add 1 tbsp. caramel syrup
- Add 1 tbsp. vanilla syrup
- Use frother to froth until it’s as frothy as you like and fully mixed.
- Add 1 cup ice
- Add cold foam on top
- Enjoy!
