It’s hard to believe this will be the last post for 2023. Where does the time go? I’ve loved learning how to make so many of my favorite coffee recipes this year and trying out lots of new syrups and Nespresso pods. Two of my favorite syrups that I’ve discovered this year are from Monin! They have an extensive line of syrups available and many of them are perfect when mixed with coffee.
So, if you’re looking for some new delicious coffee syrups to try in 2024, check out these two Monin syrups and find out two of my favorite recipes that I make with them.
My 2 Favorite Monin Syrups:
My top two picks from Monin are the Cinnamon Bun syrup and their Creme Caramel syrup. I just love both of them.
1. Monin Cinnamon Bun Syrup:
Cinnamon and coffee is one of my favorite pairings ever. This cinnamon bun syrup is so good, I am going to keep it in stock even though I have a delicious recipe for homemade cinnamon syrup, too.
Here’s a recipe I shared on my Instagram for a delicious cinnamon bun iced coffee. This one also uses a caramel syrup, but you can easily make this with just the cinnamon bun, too.

So easy to make with just a few ingredients:
- Monin Cinnamon Bun syrup – 2 tbsp.
- 2 Starbucks Blonde Roast Nespresso Espresso Pods
- 3/4 cup or so (give or take on how strong you want it) of milk of choice
- Nespresso Vertuo machine
If you like the cold foam topping, use:
- 4 tbsp. heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp. milk of choice
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon bun syrup
- Use a milk frother for about 30 seconds until soft set (no stiff peaks)
- Top with cinnamon sugar or caramel drizzle
2. Monin Creme Caramel Syrup:
This is my favorite caramel syrup of all time. There’s just something about the flavor that is so delicious. I recently used it for this shaken espresso and it’s a perfect combo.
