Easy Iced Pumpkin White Mocha for Fall

pumpkin white mocha

It’s almost fall and I cannot wait. The holidays, the weather, the colors, the coffees, it’s all my vibe and I am ready for it! I know it’s still August, but since my Halloween juice glasses have arrived, I’ve been in the mood for fall coffees. Today’s treat was a pumpkin white mocha that is so good, you’ll want to make it all season long.

This is perfect for fans of fall drinks who don’t want an overwhelmingly pumpkin flavored drink. The white chocolate balances out the pumpkin pie sauce so well, and I even added a little dash of vanilla to round out the flavor. It’s – in a word – perfect.

So, let’s put on the Gilmore Girls, get out those fall coffee glasses, and whip up a pumpkin white mocha you’ll love.

Iced Pumpkin White Mocha: Ingredients

There’s a bit more required for this than most of my drinks. You can swap out the whip cream for vanilla sweet cream if you like, or not. Up to you.

  • Vanilla syrup – You can use any vanilla syrup you have on hand. I didn’t have any so I made some quickly using my recipe. It’s a 1:1:1 sugar to water to vanilla extract ratio. I use organic sugar. Then simmer, do not boil, until combined. Pour into a bottle. Refrigerate. Get all the details in this recipe.
  • White Chocolate Sauce – I’ve really gotten into using white chocolate sauce this year. This KYYA Chocolate sauce is made in small batches and shipped fresh. The flavor is incredible. I really love this and it’s almost out, which means time to buy more! You can save 10% off your KYYA order with my code: WHATTHEFROTHKYYA10. While you’re there, get their Joy syrup, the brown sugar cinnamon sauce, and the seasonal creme brulee sauce!
  • Pumpkin Pie Sauce – The star of the show, obviously, is this pumpkin pie sauce! It has a really delicious flavor and has a little of that pumpkin pie spice kick in it, too. This is easier to use, in my opinion, than fresh canned pumpkin. Plus, I don’t want to waste the rest of the can by opening it for a couple tablespoons. This keeps on the shelf like other sauces, so it’ll last until you’re finished with it.
  • Double Espresso Nespresso Pod – You’ll need two shots of espresso for this and I like using my Nespresso with a double espresso pod. There are a couple different double espresso pods I really like. The first is the Chiaro double espresso pod, which I buy in bulk on Amazon. The second is the Starbucks blonde roast espresso pod, you’ll need to use 2 of them to get a double shot.
  • Milk of choice – Use whatever milk you like here. Almond and coconut do change the flavor, but only slightly. I used almond milk today. The barista oatmilk is the absolute best, but now that I know how unhealthy oatmilk is, I’m trying to avoid it. Boo.
  • Caramel Sauce – This is just for the drizzle on top. You don’t need this, but it adds a little more caramel flavor. I’m a fan of Hollander sauces. They have a shorter ingredient list and great taste.

As far as tools, you’ll only need an espresso machine or a Nespresso machine if you’re using pods. I’ve had my Nespresso Vertuo machine for ten years – no kidding – and it’s still going strong. Here’s the one I have.
