Ever since the Cookie Crumble Frappuccino was released at Starbucks, I’ve been buying a lot more frappuccinos than normal, but they’re not for me. My oldest has been obsessed with the Chocolate Creme Crumble version, which has no caffeine, but the same delicious double-layer of whipped cream and cookie crumble topping.
This has inspired me to write this post with the best, most delicious, Starbucks frappuccinos you can order, so next time you’re looking for something to cool you off in this insane heat, you’ll know exactly what to order. I’m splitting up the list into caffeinated and uncaffeinated options, so you can find the perfect one for yourself and everyone in your car.
13 Best Starbucks Frappuccinos With Caffeine:
1. Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino:
I think this is one of the best frappuccinos they’ve ever released. After my oldest fell in love with the creme version, I had to try this for myself and have to admit: it’s really stinkin’ good.
If you like chocolate, coffee, whipped cream, and Oreo cookies, then you will adore this frappuccino. Made with coffee, mocha sauce, and Frappuccino chips blended with milk and ice, layered with whipped cream on the bottom and the top, cookie crumbles, fluffy vanilla whipped cream, and sometimes chocolate drizzle. I’m telling you, this is dessert in the cup, but so worth it.
2. Chocolate Java Mint Frappuccino:
Another delicious option that you will love, especially if you’re a fan of mint based coffees, such as the holiday peppermint mocha or Philz Mint Mojito. Not everyone likes the pairing of mint with coffee and/or chocolate, but if you do, then add this to your must try list.
My location is sometimes out of the mint sauce, though, and if that happens to you, default to the number one frappuccino on this list.
3. Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino:
My gateway drug was the caramel frappuccino. Boy is it good. I still love it. I don’t get them very often, but when I do, I’m hit with pure nostalgia. I didn’t think they could make it any more delicious, but they unveiled the Caramel Ribbon Crunch and I was proven wrong.
This drink is made with their caramel syrup blended with coffee, milk and ice, then topped with a layer of dark caramel sauce, whipped cream, caramel drizzle and a crunchy caramel-sugar topping. It is like the summer version of the Caramel Brulee Latte.
4. Cinnamon Dolce Frappuccino + Secret Menu:
My favorite coffee drinks have cinnamon and I love the Cinnamon Dolce Latte. They can make this for you as a frappuccino. They add that sweet and a little bit spicy cinnamon sauce to their coffee and frappuccino base, blend, and top with whipped cream and cinnamon dolce topping!
5. Java Chip Frappuccino:
Prior to the release of the Java Mint Frappuccino, I would have said this is one of my favorites. The Frappuccino chips blended into the mocha base is so good, I just love it. You can get this without coffee as well and it’s like a chocolate chip frappuccino. So good.
6. Caramel Frappuccino:
It’s a classic for a reason, folks. Keep it simple and go for a delicious caramel coffee blended up and topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.
This is a go-to drink for me when I really need a pick-me-up or it’s hotter than hades outside.
7. CARAMEL MACCHIATO FRAPPUCCINO: SECRET MENU FRAPPUCCINO
This secret menu drink mixes a vanilla bean frappuccino base with espresso, and caramel drizzle to create a frappuccino that tastes like a Caramel Macchiato. It’s topped with whip and drizzle.

8. SALTED CARAMEL MOCHA FRAPPUCCINO:
Salt. Caramel. Chocolate. Coffee. SIGN ME UP. In this drink, mocha sauce and toffee nut syrup is blended with coffee, milk and ice before it’s topped with whipped cream, caramel sauce and a blend of turbinado sugar and sea salt.
9. Mocha Frappuccino:
Okay, funny story: this is the first drink I ever had at a Starbucks when I was 16. My aunt took me to the new one that opened by her house and I didn’t drink coffee at the time, but she swore I would like this. Did she know she was lighting the fire of a lifelong obsession? Probably not, but I’m grateful for it.
The Mocha Frapp does it all right: mocha sauce, coffee, ice, blended to perfection and topped with whipped cream.
10. Vanilla Frappuccino:
Vanilla lattes are the most popular drink ordered at Starbucks. Why fix what ain’t broken? If that’s your drink, a frothy, delicious vanilla frappuccino might be your jam! These are very good and taste like a vanilla coffee milkshake.
11. White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino:
Are you a fan of white chocolate mochas? Right now, the white chocolate mocha with caramel drizzle is a huge TikTok fan favorite. You can get this made in frappuccino form by ordering the white chocolate mocha frap and adding caramel drizzle or just getting it the classic way. Both are delicious.
12. Coffee Frappuccino:
Listen, some people are not fans of flavors in their coffee. There is no shame in this game, honestly. If you are in this camp, don’t fret – the coffee frappuccino has a deliciously sweet coffee flavor and still delivers on that cold, milkshake like craving. Top it with whip for a little extra and enjoy it knowing you’ve ordered the lowest calorie frappuccino on the menu.
13. Chai Creme Frappuccino:
I’m a huge fan of chai and chai lattes. I’ve even done a taste test to find the best chai at a coffeehouse. And, if you love flavored chai, don’t miss my post on the best Dutch Bros chai drinks, because they have the most extensive chai drink list I’ve ever seen. So, it’s probably no surprise that I love the Chai Creme Frappuccino.
14. Matcha Creme Frappuccino:
Are you a matcha lover? If that’s your jam, you won’t want to miss this frappuccino which has their custom blend of sweetened matcha green tea blended with milk, ice, and topped with whipped cream.
10 Best Starbucks Frappuccinos Without Caffeine:
Sugar is sometimes all the pep in your step that you need or you’re ordering for someone sensitive to caffeine (or too young for it, IMO). These are the frappuccinos to order when skipping caffeine. Also, if you’re looking for more ideas, you can order pretty much any frappuccino without coffee added, just let them know.
1. Chocolate Cookie Crumble Creme Frappuccino:
This the number one pick above but without caffeine. It’s so good. It’s like the ultimate chocolate milkshake. They do the double layer of whip for this version, too, and it’s so good, friends. Just beware, once you have this, it’s easy to get addicted.
2. Chocolate Mint Creme Frappuccino:
Another delicious option that incorporates that mint syrup we all love so much. This is similar to the Dutch Bros Grasshopper Frost, also delicious. It’s a bummer that they seem to run out of mint syrup or only have it seasonally, so when they do have it – get it!
3. Caramel Ribbon Crunch Creme Frappuccino:
Another fan favorite, are you seeing a pattern? The best coffee based frappuccinos are often the best uncaffeinated ones, too, because the flavor profile, whip and toppings are some of the best parts! The caramel sauce, double whip, and caramel bits on top is divine in this one. You won’t even miss the caffeine.
4. Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino – Secret Menu Frappuccino:
Know someone who loves cinnamon, too? Here’s how you order this caffeine free cinnamon dolce latte frappuccino:
- Order a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
- Add white mocha syrup (1 pump for a tall, 2 for grande, 3 for venti)

- Top with cinnamon dolce powder
Delicious!
5. Barbie Frappuccino – Secret Menu Frappuccino:
Celebrate the popular movie and your love for pink drinks with this TikTok viral sensation. To order this, ask for:
- Order a venti vanilla bean crème Frappuccino made with half and half

- Top with whipped cream and dragonfruit on top.
If you’d like to downsize to a grande, reduce to 2 pumps of vanilla.
6. Double Chocolatey-Chip Creme Frappuccino:
Here’s that chocolate chip frappuccino I was mentioning above. They blend the chocolate creme frappuccino base with the Frappuccino chips and top with whip and sometimes chocolate drizzle, too. It’s really good!
7. Strawberry Creme Frappuccino:
If you’re a fan of strawberry milkshakes, you’ve got to try the Strawberry Creme Frappuccino. It has a really delicious fresh taste, thanks to the strawberry sauce that they use. Plus, the vanilla flavored whipped cream on top is the perfect combo, like strawberry shortcake in a cup.
8. Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino:
The Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino is my favorite vanilla milkshake. I’m not usually a fan of vanilla milkshakes, but the flavoring on this one is so good. Plus, topped with their housemade whipped cream is just the icing on the cake.
9. White Chocolate Creme Frappuccino:
You don’t need the coffee to enjoy a white chocolate drink. This White Chocolate Creme Frappuccino uses A their delicious white chocolate sauce and blends it with milk and ice topped with whipped cream. Kids love this one!
10. CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRY FRAPPUCCINO (SECRET MENU):
Want a little chocolate with your Strawberry Frappuccino? Ask for their chocolate chips to be blended into your frappuccino, it’ll taste like a strawberry version of the Double Chocolatey-Chip Frappuccino. They usually top those with whip and chocolate drizzle, so you can add that here and be good to go.
How to order: You can order a double chocolatey-chip frappuccino with the strawberry cream base or you can order a strawberry frappuccino and add the chocolate chips and chocolate drizzle.
