Holy moly, y’all. I picked up a new vanilla bean syrup recently and really didn’t expect it to be that different from other store bought vanilla syrups that I’ve tried. But, I just love anything with vanilla bean flavor, so I though it would be pretty good.
Wow – this is one of my new favorite syrups for coffee drinks EVER! It has such a delicious flavor and really shines through in mixed drinks like I make.
I used it to recreate my favorite Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew from Starbucks recipe and it was amazing. So quick and easy to throw together with just a few ingredients and it’s ready to go. I didn’t even have the usual milk combination that I use, either, and had to use what I had and the flavor was still on point.
So, if you’re looking for a go-to iced coffee recipe with a vanilla bean syrup that’s going to knock your socks off, let’s get started:

Ingredients:
- Vanilla Bean Syrup from Pink House Alchemy
- Cold Brew Coffee (I love this one)
- Half ‘n half or milk combination you like

How To Make It:
- Add 1-2 tbsp of the syrup to a glass of ice. I used 2 and it was quite sweet. I might do a little less next time.
- Add 3/4 cup cold brew of iced coffee
- Mix 1/4 cup half ‘n half and 1 tbsp syrup
- Pour over your coffee
- Enjoy!
When I made it for the Instagram video, I didn’t have enough half ‘n half, so I added a splash of heavy whipping cream and it was still fantastic. I’ve used oatmilk and half ‘n half and all types of milk combinations, so use what you like to drink. It may change the look of it, but who cares if it tastes great?
