Easy Cookies & Cream Iced Coffee

I recently got another care package from Kyya Chocolate and the sauce I couldn’t wait to use is their new special edition cookies and cream sauce! I’ve always loved Oreos and they are one of the foods I miss the most now that I’m older and have to watch what I eat. (Booo to getting older!) But, I did sneak a little bit of crushed Oreo on top and was amazed at how similar this tasted to an Oreo dunked in coffee.

So, if you’re a big fan of cookies and cream anything, or even chocolate and vanilla together, you’re going to love this super easy coffee that come together with just a few ingredients. Let’s make it!

Cookies & Cream Iced Coffee: Ingredients

You can keep this super easy and make it with cold brew or you can brew coffee and ice it. Or, you can make a latte version with espresso shots and water or milk. Whatever you have on hand will work for this. I’ll share what I used, but make it your own.

  • Nepresso Coffee Pod: I had this Starbucks coffee pod, so that’s what I brewed with my Nespresso Vertuo machine. I brewed it right on top of the sauce so the heat would melt it and combine them. You can also use two espresso shots and 1/2 cup of milk (or water), or cold brew.

  • Cookies & Cream Sauce: This delicious sauce is so good. I used about 2 tbsp. of it, which is standard for me in terms of flavoring added to coffee. It’s going to blend easier with hot coffee or espresso, but you can mix it with cold brew, especially if you have a handheld frother. KYYA makes great syrups and sauces, in small batches and shipped fresh. Use my code to save 10% – WHATTHEFROTHKYYA10.
  • Half ‘n Half: I put a little splash of half ‘n half in the brewed coffee. Half ‘n half makes coffees so creamy. Dutch bros uses half ‘n half in leiu of milk in their drinks unless you request otherwise.
  • Heavy Cream: To make the vanilla cold foam, you’ll need some heavy cream. I know Starbucks has created a dairy free version of cold foam, but I haven’t perfected on yet
  • Vanilla Syrup: I had a homemade batch on hand using my easy 3-ingredient recipe. Use any vanilla syrup that you have here.
  • Ice: You’ll need one cup of ice. I always mention ice, because how many times have you started a recipe that needs ice only to realize after that you’re out? Maybe it’s just me. I always check for ice first.
  • Toppings: I crushed up some mini Oreos. Highly recommend. Chocolate drizzle would also be good.

As for gear, all you need is whatever you use to brew coffee and a hand frother to make the cold foam. I love this handheld frother and use it all the time.
