Easy Gingerbread Iced Coffee with Gingerbread Cold Foam

Wow, I haven’t posted in awhile. It’s been a whirlwind of holiday prep over here. I love the holidays, but boy does that to-do list seem to grow every year! I’ve been picking up more coffees than usual while I’m running around and I’ve become totally obsessed with the gingerbread iced coffee and gingerbread chai at Starbucks. So, when I happened to find a big bottle of gingerbread syrup, I grabbed it! A little gift to me to get through this jam-packed season.

Let’s check out this super easy gingerbread cold brew with gingerbread cold foam recipe that you can whip it in just a couple minutes and for a fraction of the price of the drive-throughs.

Here’s what you’ll need to make this coffee. I kept it as easy as possible with storebought cold brew, too.

  • Gingerbread Syrup – Easily the star of the show here. I know you can make your own, but again, I do not have the time right now. Finding this tasty, ready to use, gingerbread syrup was a little gift I gave myself this holiday season.
  • Cold Brew – Again, I always stock Stok Cold Brew. I average 4 of them a week. I use them year-round. They are the absolute best and I’ve done the taste test to prove it!
  • Heavy Cream – For the cold foam. I know there are dairy free recipes out there. I am very dairy light in my diet, but I do use a splash of heavy cream here for the cold foam. It gives it that pillowy, velvety texture.
  • Milk of Choice – Can be non-dairy here. Regular milk is fine. Oatmilk is great. Almond milk and coconut milk will change the flavor slightly.
  • Ice – Make sure you’ve got a cup of ice. I always check ice first because I’ve been in the middle of a coffee so many times only to discover we are out of ice! Argh! If you’re treating yourself to a nugget ice maker this Christmas, check out this post with the very best ones.
  • Toppings – I used this easy Cinnadust, which is a cinnamon sugar blend. There are a lot of toppings that would work great here, though.

I use my favorite milk frother to whip up the cold foam. It’s the absolute best one I’ve tried and it looks nice enough to leave out on the counter!
