3 Ingredient Maple Whip Cream

maple whip cream

Okay, you gotta try this one, friends! I made this after seeing a video from a coffee shop that was sharing their new fall drinks. They topped a delicious maple latte with what they called “maple whip”. They did not attach a recipe, but I knew I could figure it out. At this point, I am a whip cream expert. I’ve made coffee whip, vanilla whip (a classic), caramel whip (sharing soon), honey whip, and cinnamon whip. Why couldn’t I figure out a maple whip?

I could, and I did, and let me tell you: you’ve gotta try this. It’s insanely delicious. Light, fluffy, just sweet enough, with a hint of vanilla in there, too. YUM.

I shared a video of making it on my socials, check it out here:

If you’re looking for step by step instructions, I got you boo.

Ingredients for Maple Whip:

You just need three things here. You probably have them all in your kitchen. Nothing is standing in between you and making your maple whip.

  • Maple Syrup I have the giant Kirkland bottle from Costco. Use what you have (always keep your maple syrup in the fridge, folks, to protect it from molding!)
  • Heavy Cream – I have not tried this with other types of milk or coconut cream. Make adjustments as you like and let me know if it works!
  • Vanilla Bean Paste – I think you can use extract too, but vanilla bean paste adds a level of flavor to everything that you add vanilla too that will forever change you. It’s the best!
  • Hand Mixer – Hand mixers work great here. I find that milk frothers are not strong enough to get the right texture for this.
  • Large Pastry Tip – I used the largest pastry tip in my set to drop into the Ziploc and create the fluffy whip pattern on top. I like that this set comes with pastry bags – probably cheaper than using Ziplocs!

Step By Step Instructions:

  1. Add 1 cup heavy cream to a bowl
  2. Add 1.5 – 2oz. maple syrup (3 tbsp)
  3. Add 1 tsp or so of vanilla bean paste
  4. Mix to soft peaks
  5. Add to piping bag
  6. Pipe on top of coffee
  7. Top with cinnamon sugar or cinnamon or nothing at all!
  8. Enjoy!

It’s that easy. So fast. So delicious. And the leftovers do keep nicely in the fridge for a day or two.
