9 Best Dutch Bros Sodas (Italian Sodas)

dutch sodas

Have you ever had an Italian soda? They’re basically the freshest flavored soda you’ll ever have. You combine flavored syrups with soda water to create drinks like strawberry sodas or orange creamsicles. Dutch Bros has an extensive collection of syrups and they’ve created flavor combinations that you can add to plain soda water to create Dutch Sodas, and they are delicious.

Whenever I need a pick-me-up and don’t want caffeine, I’ll grab a Dutch Soda. Over the years, I’ve tried many different flavors and decided to share my favorite Dutch Sodas for you in case you’re looking for one to try. A lot of the flavor combos are also available with other bases, such as lemonade and their house energy drink the Rebel. Both of those change the flavors slightly, but the soda water doesn’t, which can make them taste a little different.

Best Dutch Sodas:

1. Gem Berry Dutch Soda:

This is my favorite Dutch Soda flavor combo. I usually add a splash of cream to give it that creamsicle vibe, too. The syrups used in this one are blackberry, vanilla and raspberry. It’s SO GOOD.

2. Electric Berry Dutch Soda with Cream:

This one is going to surprise you, because it’s so good. The splash of of cream is a must must. Lime and blue raspberry syrups mix to make this sweet and a little tangy drink. It’s so good. My kids also love this flavor combo with lemonade.

3. OG Gummy Bear Dutch Soda with Cream:

This is a classic Dutch flavor pairing and you can get it in a variety of drinks, such as with the Rebel or with lemonade. It combines pomegranate, passion fruit, watermelon and grapefruit. The grapefruit syrup really shines through here, but it’s not overly tart. It’s a delicious pairing, especially if you like things that are a little sweet and a little sour.

4. Orangesicle Dutch Soda:

This is a secret menu drink, but they’ll know how to make it. This tastes like an orange soda. Add a splash of cream to get that orangesicle popsicle flavor we all grew up with.

5. Palm Beach Dutch Soda:

The Palm Beach is another popular flavor combo at DB and it uses pomegranate and peach syrups added to soda water. I have found that some of my favorite flavors at DB use the pomegranate syrup. It has a really delicious flavor.

6. Ray of Sunshine Dutch Soda:

This one tastes like vacation in a cup. Blackberry, peach, and grapefruit are a great combo. I really like this one as a Rebel as well, but it also works with the soda water.

7. Starry Night Dutch Soda:

The blue raspberry is so good in the Electric Berry and here it is combined with blackberry for a berry-licious Dutch Soda you’ll want again and again.

8. Galaxy Fish Dutch Soda:

Galaxy Fish is another one of my favorite flavor combos. If you like strawberry sodas, you’ll love this one. It uses strawberry, lime, and passion fruit. The lime and passion fruit tone down the sweetness and make this more like a grown-up Fanta soda.

9. Freedom Dutch Soda:

The Gem Berry surprised me because of the vanilla addition, which I originally didn’t think would be great with the other syrups, but it is. Freedom also has vanilla, but combines it with blue raspberry and raspberry drizzle on top.

4 Tips for Ordering the Dutch Soda:

Now that you’ve made it through this list of Sodas flavors to try, let’s talk about your options when ordering.

1. Choose Your Size:

The Dutch Soda is available in three sizes, small, medium and large.

  • Small – 16 ounces
  • Medium – 24 ounces
  • Large – 32 ounces

2. Choose Your Type:

You can order your Soda iced or blended. Both are good, just depends on if you want it to be more like a soda or a slushie.

3. Choose Your Syrups:

You can use the created drinks for inspiration or just make a combo of your own favorite flavors. It will be more affordable to choose a created drink, though. Dutch Bros also has one of the most extensive sugar-free syrups lists I’ve ever seen. For more info on their sugar-free syrups, read this post.

4. Choose Your Toppings:

Add soft top, add drizzle, whipped cream, or even a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top or don’t add any toppings at all. It’s your choice. Some of these will have an extra charge, though.

That’s it! Plus, if you run into any snags, the Dutch Bros broistas are super friendly and helpful.
