Yes, we know, it’s a bold claim to say that the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew is the BEST cold brew or iced coffee drink at Starbucks, but honestly, we stand by it.

In fact, we’ve been testing almost the entire menu of iced coffee and cold brew drinks at Starbucks and still stick by this one. And, while all the taste testers over here don’t always agree on which drinks are the best, we all wholeheartedly agree that the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew is unequivocally the best cold coffee at Starbucks – so that’s saying something.

So, today, in honor of this delicious drink that we think will knock your socks off, we’re going to share all the details on this drink, how to customize it, how to order it, and what to expect.

What’s in a Starbucks Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew?

This drink is made with the slow-steeped custom blend of Starbucks® Cold Brew coffee infused with vanilla syrup and topped with  house-made vanilla sweet cream that cascades throughout the cup. It’s sweet, creamy and super-smooth.

You can ask for it to be topped with the vanilla sweet cream cold foam for even more sweetness. To learn more about Starbucks Cold Brew, read this post.

What does the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew taste like?

If you love creamy, sweet coffees, where you can still taste the coffee, this will be your jam. It’s creamier than a vanilla latte, but not as sugary or sweet as other drinks.

If you’re a Dutch Bros fan, it’s not as sweet as a Golden Eagle, but a slightly similar flavor profile (just no caramel).

There are a lot of cold brew drinks with the sweet foam on top, but the cold brew is unsweetened, so as you drink through the sweet top, the coffee gets stronger and stronger. I’m not a huge fan of those and like how this one has a more consistent flavor throughout.
